Reunion dinner is the one meal of the year nobody wants to get wrong. Our Chinese New Year range is built for the table it is actually cooked on — a steamboat in the middle and everyone reaching.

Beef and pork shabu shabu sliced to order in our own butchery, at the thickness that cooks in seconds rather than going grey and tough. Wagyu and Australian beef for the plates you want people to notice. Seafood — prawns, scallops, fish — so a mixed table does not need a second plan. Marinated ready-to-cook cuts for the days either side, when nobody wants to start from scratch again.

Everything is portioned here in Singapore. We do not buy in pre-sliced meat and re-label it, and the difference shows the moment it hits the broth.

We deliver on our own refrigerated vans. Not a third-party courier, not a rider with a cooler bag — our fleet, our drivers, temperature held from our chiller to your door.

When is Chinese New Year 2027 and when is reunion dinner?

Chinese New Year 2027 falls on Saturday 6 February. Reunion dinner is the evening before, on Friday 5 February.

How much meat per person for a steamboat?

Allow 200 to 250g of sliced meat per person where meat is the main event, or 150 to 200g if there is plenty of seafood, vegetables and noodles alongside. For a table of eight, 1.5 to 2kg of sliced meat is comfortable. Add about 20 per cent if your family treats leftovers as part of the tradition.

What cuts work best for a Chinese New Year steamboat?

For beef, chuck roll and short plate carry enough fat to stay tender in broth, while ribeye and striploin are the premium options if you want the table to notice. For pork, collar and belly work best. All of them cook in under ten seconds.

How fast can the shabu shabu meat thaw?

Thin-sliced shabu meat thaws in roughly two hours in the fridge.

How far in advance should I pre-order for Chinese New Year?

Pre-order opens 11 January. Most customers who want a specific delivery date book in the last fortnight of January, which is also when our delivery slots close fastest. the price in January is the price in February. Order early to avoid any disappointment. What you are securing is the delivery slot.
