Product Information
Young Prime is our tier for grass-fed Australian beef from cattle under 30 months — meat that's naturally tender, leaner than grain-fed, and carries the cleaner mineral flavour grass-fed eaters look for.
The striploin (also called sirloin or New York strip) is the steak-lover's steak: a strip of beef along the spine that does little work, with a defined fat cap that bastes the meat as it cooks.
Pasture-raised, hormone-free, and butchered in our own facility for Singapore home cooks who want restaurant-grade beef without the markup.
Why This Cut?
• From cattle under 30 months — naturally more tender than older grass-fed beef
• Defined fat cap renders into the meat for a clean, beefy crust on the pan
• Hormone-free, grass-fed, pasture-raised Australian beef with full provenance
How To Serve?
• Classic pan-sear with butter, garlic, and thyme — 3-4 min per side for 2.5cm thick
• Slice over a Caesar salad for an upgraded steak Caesar at home
• Rest, slice thin, layer onto sourdough with rocket for the ultimate steak sandwich

Fresh
Tasty Food Affair has always been my go to for good juicy beef steaks. My latest order is rather lacklustre though. The striploin steaks had very thick fat cap rendering the meat portion rather skimpy for a 350g steak. Tasty should enquire from its vendor on this.
Juicy and tender steaks. Don't sear on the pan for too long (not exceeding 2min each side) to keep it medium rare.
The steaks are juicy and soft and does not have a strong beefy smell. Pan frying on the stove gives it a sear which makes the steak more juicy.
My second time. It’s great!
